Tr3ason

A project that I worked for Motherlode. I created different color options for the logo and the name of the film, once the style of the font was established - green signifies the environment, gold for the economy, red for war and a neutral grey and white.
For the promotion of the film, I designed a scroll (front and back) that would look like a small poster, giving the synopsis of the film as well as an introduction to the benchmark thinkers of our time that are also in the film.

I designed this as a promotional item that can be given to people in the form of a post card along with their visiting cards to potential clients.

SLOW DOWN in economic activity

Slow Down in economic activity is a campaign designed for the latest recession that has hit everyone. Sharp drop in International trade, rising unemployment, slumping commodity prices and to top it all depression has hit the ceiling. In this dark times what is one supposed to do? Well, we are always left with 'Choices'.

One of my best friends was recently made redundant and while she cried over some coffee, she said that we should all have a choice, our boss' should ask us what is that we want. What she forgot was that every time a door closes there is a window, waiting to be opened. Currently she is running a small in - house financial consultancy office with the help of three more people who were made redundant with her. Although she is not getting paid more but she is way happier. She had a Choice.

After doing a lot of research, I found out that the recession rotates like a wheel, and it occurs nearly every 18 years. Dint our government learn from their mistakes earlier?

How did 'The Great Depression' happen? Personal income, tax revenue, profits and prices dropped, and international trade plunged by a half to two-thirds. Unemployment in the United States rose to 25%, and in some countries rose as high as 33%. Cities all around the world were hit hard, especially those dependent on heavy industry. Construction was virtually halted in many countries. Farming and rural areas suffered as crop prices fell by approximately 60 percent. Facing plummeting demand with few alternate sources of jobs, areas dependent on primary sector industries such as cash cropping, mining and logging suffered the most. The Great Depression started in the United States with the crash of the stock market on October 29, 1929 (Black Tuesday). And once again we see the stock market crumbling in front of our eyes in September 2008.

A modern twist to Diego Rivera's mural 'Man at the Cross Road' (bottom). Looking with Hope and High Vision to the Choosing of a New and Better Future." Rockefeller wanted the painting to make people pause and think that he had choices. Rivera created the mural during the period of the Great Depression.
